Fundraiser completed by local law enforcement

Throughout the month of November Law Enforcement agencies of City of Marinette, City of Menominee, and Menominee County Sheriff’s Office took part in a “No shave November” fundraising event. Officers from these agencies were allowed to grow beards in exchange for donations which would be donated to a local charity. At the end of the month the raised money, which totaled $1,128.00 was given to the Society of Saint Vincent DePaul Saint Joseph’s Conference/Holy Family. The money raised will be delegated for food and gifts for the less fortunate families who have requested assistance through St Vincent DePaul.

Also, a huge thanks goes out to the members of the NWT Planning Committee for all the time they put into organizing the event. See our full list of volunteers and sponsors here.
