Menominee River Footbridge

The City of Marinette is located at the mouth of the Menominee River as it enters the waters of Green Bay. At the Northeast boundary of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Marinette is the hub of a Tri-Cities area with a combined population of almost 40,000 persons.

Its strategic location and convenient highway, rail and port access, have contributed to the development of many diversified industries, giving Marinette a strong economic base established on manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing and tourism.

As a family-oriented community with a strong work ethic, Marinette is the ideal location for both industries and families. Our low cost of living and moderately priced homes make Marinette an appealing choice. The community has outstanding educational opportunities, including the University of Wisconsin-Marinette, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, as well as public and parochial elementary and secondary schools.

Recreational opportunities abound, with snowmobiling, boating, ice skating, tennis, and golf making up some of the more popular pastimes. Sportsmen will find the area a paradise, with some of the best hunting and fishing opportunities in the Midwest!

Marinette, come for a visit. You will soon call us home!
