Finance & Insurance Committee

The Finance and Insurance Committee shall: recommend the City Budget to the Common Council; recommend budget amendments to the Common Council; recommend monthly expenditures to the Common Council; review monthly budget performance; review all insurance issues and recommend insurance actions; approve the percentage of room tax to be retained by the City for purposes other than tourism promotion and tourism development; approve Downtown Development Fund budgets and expenditures; review and advise City Economic Development efforts; review City Assessment efforts; and perform other duties from time to time as may be set forth in the Municipal Code or as referred from the Common Council.
