The City of Marinette is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP). A CORP is a planning document that sets goals for a jurisdiction’s park and recreation program. It also guides a community on investments in parks and open space and sets it up for potential future grant funding.
This plan was drafted based on information gathered at two community meetings, two Parks and Recreation Committee meetings, and through a community survey, in addition to site visits and observations from the project consultant, Ayres Associates. The plan is a draft, and you are invited to make comments on the content. Your comments will be shared with the Parks and Recreation Committee when they consider adoption of the plan on March 18th.
