Community Contact at the Marinette Fire Department

Effective immediately the Marinette Fire Department will be limiting contact with the general public. We are TEMPORARILY suspending the following activities:

Fire Inspections
Child Passenger Safety Seat Installs/Checks
Issuing of Recreational Fire Permits (Current fire permits valid until May 1, 2020)
Station Tours for all groups
Public Education Events
Smoke Detector Installation (Call 715-732-5170 to arrange for Red Cross Smoke Detector Program detector pickup. We will provide the detectors, you will need to provide the installation.)

The temporary suspension of these activities are aimed at reducing our personnel’s exposure to illness so they are ready and able to make emergency responses. WE ARE NOT SUSPENDING EMERGENCY RESPONSES. When you dial 9-1-1 we will be there. If you have any questions, please contact us at 715-732-5170. We will evaluate the situation at the end of March to determine the appropriate time to resume these activities. In the meantime, Stay Safe and please follow CDCP and Health Department guidance.
